Shared notes, or shared documents, are notes that the whole family can view and edit.

Shared notes are a powerful way to communicate information with the family. They are used for an event itinerary, event menu, to capture a past event, trip plans, instructions or any information to be communicated with the group.

Recently, our family has been using shared documents to capture the funny and memorable moments of a particular event. A photo album captures an event visually, and a shared document captures the event from the angle of the written word. For us, the photo album and shared documents work together to capture the memories of an event.
